Shipping
We strive to process your order as quickly and carefully as possible. The confirmation of your order, is only the confirmation that we’ve received your request properly. This is NOT an acceptance of your order. We will send you an acceptance confirmation within 48 hours depending on availability of the product. We will e-mail you a notification when your items will be shipped and provide you with the shipping information. The shipment time will vary depending on the object and the destination. We will try to deliver your item as soon as possible, but we can’t be held accountable for any delays due to third parties.

Shipping destination
We ship to most destinations within the European Union. Items sold in The Netherlands may be eligible for delivery by local courier PostNL, depending on the size of the package. If your shipping destination is not available, please contact us at info@the-aesthetic-other.com. Please note, we only ship to home or offices addresses and not to P.O. box addresses. Furniture and oversized objects require special shipping arrangements. We are happy to assist our customers with all shipping arrangements and costs prior to purchase. Shipping costs
Product prices listed on this website are inclusive of taxes but exclusive of shipment costs. The cost of shipping depends on the product, destination, shipping option and weight of the parcel. For smaller objects the shipping costs will be calculated directly at checkout. For furniture or oversized objects we will contact you after your purchase to arrange the shipping. We will then be able to give you the exact quote for the shipping. We are not responsible for any duties, taxes or brokerage charges that may be incurred when the package is imported into your country. Any additional shipping costs, customs fees and taxes incurred for rejected or returned to shipper packages will be the responsibility of the customer. The goods will travel at customer/consignee’s risk. The Aesthetic Other will not be liable or responsible if you do not pay any such import duties or taxes. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the products are destinated. The Aesthetic Other will not be liable or responsible if you break any such law. The Aesthetic Other is not responsible for any fees charged by customs. If you decide to refuse any shipments from The Aesthetic Other, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, duties, taxes and custom charges that are incurred on both the original and returned shipment. In this event, this amount will be deducted from the original payment.

Shipping time
When we have received your payment, we will do everything we can to deliver your items in a timely fashion. All orders are shipped within a maximum of 72 hours once the payment is received. Delivery times may vary depending on where the order is to be delivered and its transport company within a maximum period of up to 7 working days (Monday-Friday). Once the order has been shipped, you will receive an order dispatch email with a tracking number. Please note that the estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only, and The Aesthetic Other is not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes or due to external factors.

Returns and exchanges
We accept returns of unused items within 14 days from the delivery date. Items returned to us must be in their original, re-sellable conditions and in their original packaging. You will be then refunded for the price of the object. Note that additional duties and/or taxes and/or shipping costs will not be refunded (this includes the costs of the original delivery of the purchased item). You are responsible for the return shipping costs.

The return process
1. E-mail us to info@the-aesthetic-other.com with your order information and a signed withdrawal form as soon as possible. You can download the withdrawal form here.
2. We will provide you the address where to return the item, which must be in the same condition as it was sent to you and in its original packaging.
3. Ship the item back to The Aesthetic Other. You are responsible for all shipping charges incurred.
4. Once we receive the item in perfect conditions, you will be refunded for the price of the object within 5 business days.

In the event of delays caused by a third party and therefore missing the return deadline, we will not accept the return. To ensure that the item is returned within the 14 days, you are required to start the return process and shipping as soon as possible.

Large objects (e.g. chairs, tables, coffee tables, benches, etc.) require special delivery arrangements, therefore you are required to e-mail us and start the return process within 48 hours of receiving the item. We will then contact you with more information and possible delivery time slots.

In the event that you receive an item that you believe is damaged or defective, we require that you e-mail us within 48 hours of receiving the item and include your name, proof of purchase, a description of the issue, and photos of the item. We reserve the right to deny any request for return of items you believe are damaged or defective.

Products are not eligible for exchange.
